Pink Duck

Once again it is Pink Duck time at Bib's Downtown. Last year we were able to raise over $400 selling Pink Ducks for the Susan G. Koman Foundation and Breast Cancer awareness. We are ready once again for the 2 Buck Duck. Come on into the restaurant and purchase a pink duck for 2 bucks and the money raised will go to Breast Cancer Awareness. These ducks are perfect for putting on your desk or taping to the top of your computer. Also great for kids and grandkids to play with in the tub. Thank you in advance for all your support of this great cause.

Introducing Weekly Specials

Bib's Downtown is ready to launch our much anticipated food specials starting the first week in February.  Our food specials will run Monday – Thursday lunch and dinner.  Each of our special is a unique twist on traditional food incorporating our smoked meats and sauces. Our specials are prepared daily so come early.

Our first special will run from February 1st through February 4th.  Bib’s Sliders - This is a fabulous combination of 4 of our most popular meats.  We take a small, soft bun with a hint of sweetness and build 4 delectable finger sandwiches.  Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, Turkey and Sausage Sliders on one plate (red slaw sandwiches) with a side and three hush puppies.

Madhouse Drivers Celebrity Serve For Wishes Event To Benefit The Make-A-Wish Foundation

Bib's Downtown, in partnership with the Make A Wish Foundation of Central and Western North Carolina, will host the 3rd annual Celebrity Serve For Wishes event. This event will take place on Fat Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 6-9 pm. All tips and a portion of restaurant sales help grant the wish of a deserving, local child.

Meet Stars of History Channel's hit show Madhouse

The celebrity servers for the evening will be NASCAR modified drivers from the hit show Madhouse. The line-up includes Burt Myers, Jason "J" Myers, Chris Flemming, Dean Ward, Ricky Knapp, and more to tbe announced.

Make a Wish Foundation

The Make A Wish® Foundation of Central and Western North Carolina’s mission is to raise funds to grant the wishes of local children with life threatening medical conditions.

Wednesday Night Open Mic Acoustical Jam

Yet another great reason to come to downtown Winston-Salem for some good food and entertainment.  Wednesday nights will be Bib’s Open Acoustical Jam Night. Starting at 6:00 pm and ending at 9:00 the restaurant will host an open acoustical jam where folks can break out there acoustical guitars, mandolins, harmonicas, violins or whatever and get 15 minutes to play to our patrons and your fans.  No amps or microphones needed.  Fifteen minutes slots will be on a first come first serve and a sign up sheet will be available at the door, so you can fill in your time slot.  Come in and hear Blues, Celtic, Appalachian, Blue Grass, original works and more. Come out and see what beer and wine specials we have.

Our dessert special for the month of January is Buy One Get One 1/2 Off. Each of our desserts is truely homemade in house from our own recipes. Everyday you can choose from three fabulous cobblers.  Our fruit cobblers are Peach and Cherry and of course we have our unique Chocolate C

obbler.  If you are a chocolate fan, don't miss this unique chocolate delight.  Don't forget our most popular dessert: Banana Pudding - no pudding mix here... made from scratch pudding and only the best ingredients.

Beer Special

Our Beer special is Natty Greene's Buckshot Amber Ale. At Bib's Downtown we felt that our smoked meats would be complimented by a great micro-brew on draft.  For the month of January we have chosen Natty Greene's Buckshot Amber Ale.  Buckshot is a full-bodied amber ale with a rich, smooth flavor and notes of caramel and toffee.  Come check it out in our spacious dining room.

Christmas Turkey & Ham

Bib's Downtown wants to make your Christmas easy. So we are offering delicious smoked ham and turkey. For your convenience you can pick up your order Christmas Eve. You can place an order in store or by phone if paying by credit card. Orders must be placed by Monday, December 21st.

Labor Day

Bib’s Downtown will be open Labor Day for all your end of summer cookout needs.  Call today or Saturday for your Monday bulk order pickups.   Open normal business hours from 11 AM to 10 PM for your dine-in experience. 

Chocolate

You have asked for it....now we have it!  Chocolate Cobbler is making its Bib's Downtown debut on Friday August 21st.  We did a test run at our recent wine tasting on the patio, and there was playful skirmish over who was going to get to take a spoon to the empty pans.  Our pitmaster Mark Little has come up with a delectable chocolate cobbler featuring a smooth rich dark chocolate with a light bread cobbler crust.  The cobbler is a wonderful compliment to our smoked meats and it also goes nicely with a glass of North Carolina's own Stony Knoll Caberne

Wine and BBQ...Come and get it!!  Bib's Downtown will host Skull Camp Wines of Dobson NC for an evening of wine and smoked meat pairings out on the Bib's patio.  The event is scheduled rain or shine on August 13th starting at 7:00 pm.  Cost for the event is $15.00 and seating is limited.  RSVP to Robert at 336-399-1169.

Bib's Voted Best Ribs in Winston-Salem

Smitty's Notes announces it's winners for the annual best in Winston-Salem reader's poll.  Bib's Downtown is happy to announce that Smitty's readers named our ribs "Best" in Winston-Salem.  We are also really happy with being voted runner-up for best BBQ.  Thank you to all Smitty's voters and our loyal customers for the votes.  Reminder:  come early on Friday and Saturday nights for a taste of the "Best" ribs in town.  Bib's smokes their ribs daily for your enjoyment.  No frozen or boiled ribs here!

Bib's Downtown is happy to announce the opening of their spacious patio for outside seating.  The patio features 30 seats of additional dining space.  Simple and spacious for you to enjoy the summer evenings with an excellent plate of food and a cold beverage.
